Properties and features:
Colorless & transparent liquid, density of 2.24, boiling point of 114℃, smoke generation in the air, pungent smell, corrosivity, solubility in acetone, benzene, ether and other organic solvents, acidity shown after water decomposition, corrosivity of water-soluble flow to metal.

Application:
Tin tetrachloride is mainly used as an important raw material for synthesizing organic tin compounds, is mainly applied in a mordant for dyeing pesticide intermediates and medical intermediates, manufacturing of sensitized paper, lubricant additives, glass surface treating agents, glass container fixation accelerators, ceramic industry, electronic industry, etc., and is particularly suitable to be used as a cationic polymerization catalyst of isobutylene, a-alpha methyl styrene, etc. at the same time.

Packaging, storage and transportation:
The product is packaged in glass containers and protected by adding wooden boxes outside the glass containers. The product is stored in dark places, the containers should be strictly prevented from being broken in the storage and transportation process, and necessary protection tools are used. A small quantity of spatters can be washed by water or covered by dry sand, but a large quantity of leaked matters should be treated by professionals.
